As the first seminar I went to was by one of the internet “gurus” Ewen Chia who advertised all about selling making money online products, you know, the ones that are all but overly hyped. I did what hee told me for a while and really started to doubt if what I do was very authentic, well, it’s not illegal as per se, but not the best way to earn money either (not that I earned anything then).

Hello, Anh, thanks for the comment. I have the same excitement with WealthyAffiliate as I had before, couple years ago. Because as you and plenty of others, I was chasing after shiny objects. I did not understand that just knowledge and consistent work can bring positive results. What is most important that I wasted time on unnecessary things instead learning and absorbing information. Nemira, I like how you said student loans darken what you get out of college. Unfortunately I know that all too well. While I do have my degree, that debt looming over my head just doesn’t seem to want to go away.

I really like how you put that money and happiness are two different things but having money it’s definitely better than not having any.
I’m quite frugal and like to keep most of my money and often times my friends would say that money can’t buy happiness. But the same friends are complaining that they dislike the job, the things that occupies most of their time. So how can you still be happy lol!
Which is why my life goal is to create my own business which will allow me freedom to do what I want, and leave this job rat race.
