Starting the business from scratch is doable, but it takes time and consideration. I heard that many people in the company told that to initiate the store is easy, but to keep it alive and prospering is the tricky thing. Some people do not have experience. Some beginners are too shy or too fast with the right decisions.
There are some of the mistakes which could be a headache for beginners in the business world.
The First Mistake
Innovations happen every day. Products change. Consumers change . Needs change. Beginners must follow what is new on the market and how they can adjust it to their business.
The Second Mistake
Some beginners would think that they know everything. They want to have control in all areas of business. It can lead to exhaustion. If the leader does not share tasks with members of the team, it can lead to apathy and loss of interest regarding business.
The Third Mistake
The lack of trust shows up when beginners want to take care of business alone, without partners. Expanding the business without partners is hard.
The Fourth Mistake
The ego can be an obstacle in the business for beginners. It is great to believe in oneself, but patient evaluation of options and possibilities can protect from quick decisions.
The Fifth Mistake
Successful leaders invest in the business. They know that money needs to be spent on innovations, tools, machines, new devices, and people.
The Sixth Mistake
Beginners must have goals. Beginners must have a clear vision about the future of business. Some details can be changed, but the main idea must be the leading line through all evolution of the enterprise.
The Seventh Mistake
The focus on the money. Beginners can forget about the main idea of business and think just about the money. If beginners concentrate on the money, the money will become the master. They need to reflect on the development of business and about help for less fortunate.
The Eight Mistake
Everything changes in the world. Beginners must be ahead of competitors and have an interest in the innovations.
The Ninth Mistake
Beginners must think about of expansion of the business. In the beginning, they could be happy having customers in the same city or country. Thinking ahead about the development and needs of people around the world can bring benefits to everybody.
The Tenth Mistake
Beginners must reflect on all levels of business. They must evaluate themselves because the company takes energy and time. Having a clear view of the future, beginners can distribute resources of health and money most efficiently.

This post of yours reminds me of Michael Gerber’s book titled “E-Myth Revisited”. The 10 mistakes were mentioned there, or at least similar to them if not exactly mentioned.
And, it is true. To open a business is easy. To keep it open is difficult.

Hello, Gomer. Yes, I have a few more websites which require constant attention. I am health nut, maybe it would better to tell that I prefer real things over chemicals. I search for information from doctors, scientists and write about discoveries and achievements. I believe in prevention of chronic diseases. The health is one big business for us. Without it, we could not be productive and helpful to there human beings. As in the business, we make mistakes when we choose wrong directions.
We can learn from other people. Sometimes we are too shy ask for advice or directions. It is wrong. Anyway, it is never too late learn new things.

Hello here. Thanks for the comment. I think that everybody who is a newbie in the business world, makes some of mistakes. We all different and we all learn and behave in a different ways.Some of us are procrastinators and shy. Other people rush with the decisions and do not look back at the mistakes. Learning from others mistakes saves for us time and some of the money. It is great when we can work and be friends with people who reached more compare with us. In this way, we do not stay at the same place. We move forward because we have leading people around us.

You’ve made some pretty interesting points here – I’ve been starting my businesses (I say starting because I’m still working at it everyday!) for about a year now.
I think that something that’s so crucial is to not give up after failure which you’ve mentioned. You have to fail to learn what to do next time.
Also something that I 100% agree with is that you can’t do everything yourself. Whether that means focusing on one thing and perfecting it before going on to the next or hiring on some helping hands – I’ve learned that it’s crucial to not do if all at once cuz it simply won’t work

Mistakes are not so bad as long as you have the knowledge to overcome them. For me I always loved making jokes and sometimes was overenthusiastic. Being highly enthusiastic I directed my energy into learning and reading etc, this allowed me to direct it into something productive.
Focusing on money was another one but now I focus on growing my experience and knowledge in the online business space. Money only really comes if you have something of value to offer.
Hi, Trevor. Yes, we learn from mistakes. I think that they are our little teachers which do not let us to sleep on the pillows of victories. Otherwise, we could stay in the same place and we would think that we do very well. Without mistakes we would not know if we are on the right path. Overall, it is great to learn from others. If we do not learn from others, our time would go not just for creating business, but for fixing mistakes. Instead we could save time which is most valuable asset in the world except health.
